Current Status: A curated English reference for the September 19, 2026 engineering preview. Public milestones are self-contained and all product acceptance remains unverified.
Target State: Clear, release-specific guidance for every qualified workflow, with evidence appropriate to each public claim.

Understand the project¶

Understand the artifacts¶
- Downloads: preview ISO, EFI, manifest and release metadata, plus the separate legacy firmware archive.

Release and publication policy¶
Preview is an engineering channel. Packaging an ISO or EFI does not promote macOS boot, Metal, installation or hardware acceptance. The current preview uses the default release policy; research profiles remain distinct. The archived firmware ZIP retains its own source pin and older policy.
Public guidance covers verified behavior, artifact identity and explicit limitations. Internal design and build plans, research notebooks, raw execution traces and local evidence are excluded from this site and its search index. Private source documents remain separate from the public guide.
